2008: My Year in Cities

I saw this on Rifferaff and thought I’d join the fun. Basically, you write what cities you’ve been to in 2008. The catch is that you have to have slept in that city at least one night! I’m not going to include the city I live in, though.

Luquillo, Puerto Rico

I love these prints!

My wonderful husband bought two of my favorite prints from two wonderful etsy sellers. The prints are pictured below and I love them.

He also purchased a print by one of my favorite sellers, artquirk. I can’t find the image, but all of artquirk’s work is beautiful. (Her work is not going to be available [...]

First up, the kitchen.
Love the towel display. And [...]

Travel From Home

The reality is that staying home is more affordable than traveling. And as much as I want to travel a ton, I also know that sometimes, life’s other obligations force me to stay home. So, my solution to this problem is to get more international at home. Here’s my plan. First, I’m going to devote [...]

Holding Myself Accountable

My birthday is in less than two weeks. Not only am I getting older, but I am also getting closer to having to realize some goals I set for myself back in September. I thought now would be a great time for me to re-visit those goals and determine if I’ve accomplished any and how [...]

Holiday Traditions

I am constantly on the lookout for meaningful holiday traditions. And the most meaningful, in my opinion, are the ones repeated year after year. Here’s a list of some of my family, my in-laws, and other holiday traditions that I just don’t want to forget. I’d also love to hear some of yours in the [...]
