1. I dusted off my sewing machine about a week ago. I was trying to find a nice sewing machine cover for it on etsy with no luck. I guess people who have sewing machines generally know how to sew their cover, so etsians figure no one will buy one. I was excited to see that Craft Zine has linked to a sewing machine cover tutorial by Not Nigella.

2. I am taking a staycation this weekend and I’m taking it quite seriously. I’m going to do online research on things to do, places to eat and all of that. I’m looking forward to it and enjoy doing the research on local places I’ve never been.

3. I’ve been spending a lot of time cleaning and clearing out my craft/office room so that I can really start making things. I’ve been making things on and off, but I have no where to put anything and the lack of organization in my room is driving me nuts.

4. I won a purse from Chez Larsson! I blogged about the site last week - her organization has been the inspiration for me to clean and clear out my office as mentioned above.

5. I took the picture (above) about a year ago. I was trying to understand and visualize depth of field. It’s pretty amazing how defined the blurry portions are from the non-blurry portions.
