About Nie
I first heard about what happened to Nie via a friend of hers whose blog I read in my google reader. Stephanie, who blogs at Nienie Dialogues, and her husband and his flight instructor were in a plane crash. The flight instructor, Doug Kinnear, passed away shortly after the accident. Stephanie and her husband suffered from severe burns. More details are available here.
Design Mom wanted to do something to help the Nielson family and has made today Nie Nie Day. She’s encouraged many bloggers to either host an auction, with proceeds going directly to the Nielson family, or to blog about it.
