Happy December!!!
I had a great Thanksgiving and blogging break and am now back in full force. I wanted to share some images my Thanksgiving and my Black Friday. Instead of shopping, my husband and I met my parents in St. Augustine, Florida. Although I’ve visited the city many times, this was definitely the best trip I’ve ever had up there. I’m going to donate a whole post to the city later, for now I just wanted to ease in to December by posting some images and saying hi to everyone!
I would love to hear about your holiday. So, please post here or just tell me to go to your blog to read all about it.
Also, before I post the pictures, I wanted to remind everyone to come back later this week. Tomorrow I will be posting about an etsian in Guatemala and on Wednesday I will post some pictures of some of my favorite ornaments on my tree.

(I don’t know if you can tell in the picture from Thanksgiving, but I used a small fondue pot to keep the gravy warm. I read that gravy should be the last item made before serving dinner and it needs to be hot. I thought my fondue pot idea was brilliant. Unfortunately, I accidently used Red Wine Vinegar instead of Red Wine when I deglazed my pan for the gravy. So, although it was warm, it was really, really bad. I think that was my big mistake for Thanksgiving, anything happen with you?)

What a good idea, using the fondue pot for gravy! My really big mistake was taking the dog for a two-hour walk and almost missing Thanksgiving dinner altogether (which I happily didn’t have to cook).
Your food looks so yummy. My Thanksgiving was very nice. My bf and I went to my parents, two uncles and a cousin. It was very quaint. I made some butternut squash that was a big hit for everyone.
I can’t wait to see your tree!
