The GORGEOUS Hix Island House
The Hix Island House hotel in Vieques, Puerto Rico is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen. Aside from a truly unique room look, the hotel also offers amazing extras. Daily yoga in the courtyard, private kitchen equipped with fresh bread, eggs, Puerto Rican coffee, and local fruit.
Vieques lies east of Puerto Rico’s main island. Take a short flight from San Juan airport, or take the ferry from Fajardo. The ferry is obviously cheaper, but it won’t run if the water is too choppy. The Hix Island House offers concierge service to help you get the most of your Vieques vacation. I suggest the Biobay tous.

Gorgeous simplicity! We had to cancel our upcoming trip to PR & Vieques, maybe next year. Thanks for posting about the Hix House, maybe we can reserve a few days there next year.
Oh, that sucks that you had to cancel your trip. Have you been there before? I went earlier this year and I tried to stay at the Hix Island House but there was a 3 night minimum and we were only there for 2 nights. We tried to do a trip to Vieques to see their Biobay, but the water was too choppy for the ferry so they cancelled the trip. Next time. I love Puerto Rico, especially the food and the rain forest.
