The Summer is Over
Not that I haven’t enjoyed the blogs I’ve been reading over the summer, but I’ve noticed a nicer quality of blogs the past two days. This is evident in my constant need to do some blog link round-ups. I think we’ll always think of summer as a time to relax and even if we don’t have to go to school anymore, September will always mean getting serious about work. It’s evident in the blogging community (and slightly intimidating!). So, here are some blogs posts that I’ve recently enjoyed. Check them out and add your own if you’d like.
- The conversation of “inspiration” comes up often. I personally think that if most inspiration is found via the web, it’s probably more likely to be copied, so I suggest going out to the world to find some of that inspiration. Where can you find inspiration? Well, Food Flower Style has compiled a list of 12 places to find inspiration. The over-all theme is, find inspiration by living life and reflecting on your life.
- The 100 Year Diary. How cool is that. It seems to be 100 pages where you can devote one page to each year of your life. I love this.
- Blossoming Tree has created an Etsy Treasury of items from regular visitors to her blog. I think that’s so incredibly thoughtful and wanted to take the time to thank her here!
- There is a trend that’s beginning that is probably the best trend EVER. Think about the best trend you know of to date… … … it’s better than that. The trend? Cities around the world are going to start banning BILLBOARDS! Jaunted mentioned today that São Paulo did it back in 2007 and Intelligent Travel reported that the Chinese city of Xi’an (where the Terra Cotta warriors hang out) is banning them to. And finally, we have a city in the states that’s looking to ban them to. We’re slowly working towards eliminating air pollution and now visual pollution, good to start somewhere, right

Lovely blog!! Just found you, very refreshing….thanks for sharing. xx
