(I guess I should definitely read your next post.) My kids have better memories than I do and can recall details that I have long forgotten. I really like your idea of recording where you slept. It’s accurate but easy.

Thanks for linking up with us!

Mon, 22 Apr 2013 04:11:02 +0000http://travelturtle.net/?p=2135#comment-1852I still keep a journal which helps recall and record and of course, I blog. That, plus my journal – I prefer those with pockets so I keep ticket stubs, receipts, brochures, anything I pick up during my travels — and photos usually provide a good way of keeping track.

Sun, 21 Apr 2013 03:11:16 +0000http://travelturtle.net/?p=2135#comment-1767I blog about many of our trips, take a ton of photos, save ticket stubs, brochures and turn them into scrap books. I also have notebooks full of notes scratched here and there, but they aren’t very organized. Looking forward to your series to see how you keep track of your memories from the road.

Plus you can access it anywhere you have a connection and anyone who has a connection can access it, too! And your kids are so lucky that you made sure they kept a travel journal. Best souvenir ever.

I have to admit that while I have made sure that my kids kept a travel journal from the time that they were able to form letters I have never done it myself. I do take a lot of photos on trips and now I blog about our travels so I guess that’s my form of memory keeping.

I too keep track in a journal, but it’s quite a mess! I look forward to checking out your Memory Keeping Monday!
