I can’t wait for you to see Croatia, Ann. You are going to love it. There’s so many places to go and fabulous food to be eaten! We’re very lucky that we’ve had 6 weeks to explore the country but there are still places I want to come back to and others that we have missed. I remember when a friend was talking about another friend’s pics from a trip to Italy. She said, “I don’t think it’s possible to take a bad picture there.” I don’t think there are many places like that in the world, but I’m beginning to think Croatia is one of them.

I’ve wanted to go to Croatia for years and still haven’t made it there. I’m beginning to fear that it shall forever remain on my bucket list.

I can’t wait for my kids to be old enough when I can show them a picture of beaches and they get excited. Right now it’s just Mickey Mouse and trains that make them happy. (And I think you have a point… living in Germany makes me want that kind of scenery even more than ever.)
